OK - thank the heavens above I wasn't in New York City on Monday because it would have been extremely embarrassing to pee my pants in front of all those tourists. Apparently to celebrate this week's release of the 20th Anniversary Special Edition of CHILD'S PLAY on DVD, MGM sent a bunch of life-size Chuckys to Times Square to mingle about and generally scare the f*ck out of people. Job well done. If you simply must see more of a horde of Chuckys terrorizing unsuspecting New Yorkers, click here to see a gallery of shots. You can also click here to order CHILD'S PLAY on DVD.

Ha. That's great! I'd freak. I have already decided if I ever have a son, his fifth birthday present will be waking up to a Chucky doll on the edge of his bed. And yes, I'm aware that would make me awful parent.

wouldn't it have been more efficient if the chucky's were little people? now that would creep me the fuck out.

Christ, for a second there I thought this article was gonna announce a "Jason Takes Manhattan"-esque Child's Play flick... I'm relieved, to say the least.

The guys in the suits better be careful cause somebody like myself would look for the nearest heavy object to bust over their heads for freaking us out.
