I don't know... I really don't. I want to be excited, but I can't. Every look at this flick has been very disappointing. It just feels like yet another cash in. Just let it go, George! |

I saw Episode 1 in the theater.
I saw Episode 2 on DVD.
I saw Episode 3 on cable.
This (Episode 2.5?) I won't bother with at all.
And it's sad that Lucas keeps dicking around with the original trilogy, which most everyone loved, to make them more like the prequel trilogy, which hardly anyone even liked.
'Special Editions' my @$$.
Where to begin?
The Jabba scene is redundant (basically repeating Greedo's dialog); all the critters in Mos Eisley are distracting as hell (and desperately unfunny); the '90s CGI badly clashes with the '70s costumes, sets, designs, et al.; and so on.
It's like airbrushing eyebrows onto the Mona Lisa...it may be technically correct, but it's artistically criminal.
Oh...and, as an added bonus, Williams' music is no longer entirely in synch with the visuals.
So, please, Lucas...just stop. |

Complain all you want guys, I bet most of you give in and buy tickets to this when it's screening.
It's not going to be the best film ever, but its some new Star Wars material on the big screen, which is pretty exciting for me. Everyone needs to get off their f**king soap boxes and just take this for what it is. A (hopefully) fun adventure movie. |

You're lucky your image of Star Wars ISN'T tarnished. First off, the Special Editions of the original trilogy? Bad, out of place cgi, "lost" scenes that needed to stay that way, Hayden whats-his-pants as the spirit of Anakin. Crap, crap, crap. Lucas is a douche. |

STAR WARS WITHDRAWL
Its star wars, so i'll give it a chance. I'm guessing this is aimed at kids, so hopefully the live action show will be more geared towards adult fans. In a way, i'm glad this is focused on the prequels, b/c if they made a show set between episodes 4 and 5 or something, i risk being really disappointed and having my image of the original trilogy tarnished. |

WORTHLESS
To join in with everyone else - this is an obnoxious waste of everybody's time. I can't believe there was a time when I was actually excited about the prequels coming out - I had no idea how they would take something so awesome and make it so completely the opposite of awesome. |
