If you weren't already sick of the SAW franchise, perhaps you'd be interested in another movie about a serial killer who likes to kidnap and torture victims while leaving elaborate traps? And as an added bonus, it's actually from the writers of some of the SAW sequels so it'll be extra ripoff-y! Personally I'm kinda done with this genre so I'm not sure I'm all that giddy about THE COLLECTOR.
It sounds like they had an interesting premise (thief breaks into house only to find an abductor has already broken in and is holding the family hostage) and just added a bunch of SAW flair (masks, traps, etc.).
