A promo trailer for CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE has hit the web. Sorry that was so matter-of-fact but my brain is still a little fried from watching this trailer. They might as well just call this thing CRANK 2: WTF. There's so much random shit going on here I can't even begin to describe. Let's start by saying this pretty much defines the acronym NSFW. There's more "f*cks" in this 2:12 clip than in most movies in addition to topless women and shots of Jason Statham pounding Amy Smart like a jackhammer.

From what I understand, this was footage that was shown at the "Masters of the Web" panel at Comic-Con but I had such a poor angle on the screen from my seat on stage that I can't confirm that. It sounds about right though. Check it out below...

Wow. Man, that was really edgy, huh? It takes us further into the gutter than we've ever been before. It's so much more foul than anyone has previously dared to be. And I, like everyone else, really enjoy a movie that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else but show the dregs of humanity being as vulgar as they can be. That was so amazing... because I didn't know there were people who like total gar...

That was so amazing... because I didn't know there were people who like total garbage as much as I do! I'm so tremendously excited to see this. I might even go catch it at the theater on opening day, so I can watch a piece of filth WITH pieces of filth.

Seriously, the fact that this has so many positive comments is truly a shame. And I know I'm gonna get attacked here, because sadly I'm in the minority; but say what you want, because it doesn't change the fact that this movie seriously looks like complete trash. I cannot imagine how anyone could be incapable of recognizing that fact. I'm appalled that this is considered to be entertaining.

That looks...bad
Really, I love Sex, Violence and cursing in movies as much as anyone grown up with 80īs actionflics. But that garbage looks like shot by a bunch of drugged up filmstudents with seemingly no budget at all. And that fucked up camerastyle puts every "Bourne" and recent "Bond"-movie to shame (not in a good kind of way). :-(

FINALLY SOME KIND OF FOOTAGE! That promo trailer was just maniacal. Big fan of the first, but like someone already said, as beyond kick ass as this looks, I hope they don't overdo it.
