Destro gets shiny?

Destro So a point of contention among fanboys regarding the upcoming toy and comic adapted actioner G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA has apparently been the luster of the villainous Destro's (Christopher Eccleston) mask. Or considering all the pics we've seen of him have been rather mask-less, the state of the whole mask thing has been debated. UGO is here today to put this debate to rest. First of all, he will indeed be wearing a mask and, from the picture they're showing, a small portion of which you can see to the right, it's glorious silver sheen would make the Silver Surfer take notice. I have the newest Destro figure for the ROC movie and this is just the character painting for the card? I really wouldn't get to excited yet...

Just got the action figure today of Destro. It's obvious the artist was trying to make the painting more like the classic Destro, but the figure itself is wearing an unshiny big dumb metal mask.

I'm glad they're making some sort of effort to stay faithful to the appearance of the character. Hopefully they'll do the same for Cobra Commander. Still not expecting much from this though.

I am not really a fanboy of GI Joe, and therefore don't care whether he'll be masked or not, but I will say that I think this movie looks like stupid fun. Even if I am wrong, it'll still be better than Trasnformers 2.

Any picture I've seen of Cobra Commander shows the character wearing a mask. Is it believed that he doesn't wear the mask throughout the film?
