@ MR BOEJANGLES:
Your logic is an impervious wall of armor that I cannot penetrate. Truly his rendition of "Dreyfuss with Glasses" may be his most authentic yet.
Effeminate? You mean that he's Drey-fussy. |

HE'S AN AC-TOR
Sure, he's a little effeminate and whiny, but he's also a good actor. I think he'll probably study Cheney (as long as he can bear before his body rejects Cheney like a bad organ transplant), and then he'll use the magic of ACTING to behave in a manner less like himself, and more like Satan. Satan? Did I just say that? I meant to say the Vice President. That was an accident; Dick Cheney is Satan. I mean, he is NOT Satan. There, I went and did it again. Sorry, Dick - he is a Dick, I can call him that. |

Funny, I think Cromwell is the most spot-on so far. Dreyfus has already been in one Bush-esque movie as a political advisor, although that was probably more of a Karl Rove character (who, by the way, I think would suit Giamatti so much better than the VP).
The casting choice I'm kind of peeved about is Thandie Newton. Condoleeza is a hard one to cast, but I still feel like Newton's face is a precise anatomical and dimensional opposite to Rice's, in that everything big on Rice is small on Newton. If you can make any sense of that.
Now cast Bill Sadler or Nick Nolte as Rumsfeld. |

I actually think that is great casting. My least favorite for this film so far has been James Cromwell as Bush Sr. but I guess we'll see. I'm definitely intrigued by this film. |
