I was totally stoked when we first got word that CHOKE was getting green lit for production. As with most peeps, Chuck Palahniuk is one of my favorite writers and CHOKE is one of my favorite book (along with The Bible). But, I hate to say it, the film failed miserably despite Sam Rockwell and Angelica Houston's performances. I'm not a big fan of a narrator in movies but I feel that Palaniuk's books almost require a narrator when it makes the jump to film. Look what it did for FIGHT CLUB.
