Near Dark

The Twilight hysteria is responsible for a lot of things. The introduction of vampires to tweens. The blowup of Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart. JoBlo.com correspondent Jim Law waiting outside for hours on end at this year's Comic Con. It's also influenced the advertising and repackaging of DVDs. Case in point, the infinitely awesome and original 80s vampire flick NEAR DARK, starring Jenny Wright and Bill Paxton. We're talking a straight up balls out, action and gore heavy story of vampires with a splash of sick romance in it. How does it tie in with Twilight? Check out the Blu-ray cover below. Also check out the cover for Robert Pattinson's horseshit movie The Haunted Airman from a couple of years ago that is also similar to the Twilight poster. My chick and I watched this and instantly regretted it. The Blu-ray of Near Dark hits shelves November 10th.
