It seems like every day we have some horror-related DVD/BD news...Blue Underground, which dedicates itself "to guilty pleasures for adventurous movie lovers," has announced plans to release George A. Romero's The Crazies early next year, three days before the remake/reimagination hits theaters for audiences who have no idea who Romero is. The Crazies is notable for being one of Romero's first features following 1968's Night of the Living Dead and, though it faired poorly upon initial release, has found an audience on home video. The Crazies debuts on Blu-ray on February 23rd.
