Just in time for Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate this winter) comes the Coraline gift set, available in both standard DVD and Blu-ray formats. If you're unfamiliar with the story of Coraline, it tells the story of a young girl who moves into a new house with her family, and stumbles upon the "Other World," which is an alternate real world. Great, smart little animated flick but probably for kids over 7 or 8 since there's some pretty dark imagery. Just a warning, it doesn't matter to me. I think it should be shown in nurseries. And it will. The set will include the prior collector's edition (specs below) as well as 4 pairs of 3D glasses, limited edition book "Getting Things Right" where director Henry Sellick gives his thoughts on the inspiration process and production of Coraline, and limited edition Coraline postcards. The giftset will be available on December 8th.
