UPDATE - Well it was fun while it lasted. It was a great scoop that brought in so many visitors to JoBlo.com (and a welcome to you all) that it even gave our servers a headache. But all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately, for reasons we've agreed not to get into, we have to take the HANCOCK trailer offline. Thanks to everyone who came visiting today, to our tech guys for helping us manage the traffic surge and to Sony who was incredibly supportive. Hopefully we'll be able to bring you a relaunch of the trailer when things calm down a bit... In the meantime, I bring you a slightly different, but still hilarious, Will Smith video.
Will Smith has had so much success over 4th of July weekend he's almost as much as an Independence Day tradition as picnics and fireworks. In 2008 we'll be treated to another Will Smith 4th of July extravaganza with the superhero action/comedy/drama HANCOCK. Smith stars as a homeless and alcoholic superhero who's fallen out of favor with the public. He hires a PR exec (Jason Bateman) to rehabilitate his image only to wind up falling in love with his wife (Charlize Theron). Today we're proud to bring you a first look at the teaser trailer for HANCOCK. This definitely plays up the comedic element in the film and from what I see here, I'm pretty impressed. This movie wasn't even on my radar but now I'm very interested to see more (though I could do without the hip-hop soundtrack). Click below to see the trailer for yourself.
Extra Tidbit:HANCOCK was originally titled TONIGHT, HE COMES.
