When news first broke that director David Gordon Green (GEORGE WASHINGTON) would be directing Seth Rogen and James Franco in a Judd Apatow pot action/comedy I...well, you can probably guess my reaction. First it was, "Wow." Second it was, "I gotta see this movie!" THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS isn't set for release until next year but we have your first look at an extended scene from the film. Below we have a clip that features Franco, as a drug dealer, introducing Rogen to the beauty of The Pineapple Express ("The dopest dope I ever smoked.") and the miraculous 3-way joint. Yes, a 3-way joint. To describe it would not do it proper justice. You'll just have to check out the vid below!

I gotta spend more time with Seth Rogen, man. That dude has enough "joint stories" for a decade's worth of fine films. I'll be trying that CROSS-JOINT this weekend. Wow...who knew!!

Looks awesome. Great to see Franco back in a more comedic role and it'll be interesting watching Rogen play the straight man in comparison. And I still can't believe Green directed a stoner action movie. August is way too far away. Can't we release this in April? Say...the 20th?
