dam this is hard, I hate both these shows, samurai champloo is such a dissapointment from cowboy bebop my favorite show, and ghost in the shell is one of my favorite movies of all time but the shows in my opinion sucked real bad.

Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo!) -One of my favorite characters from my favorite anime. It is too bad that the original voice actress retired from voice acting so has not returned for the new series. :(

I am a big fan of Lina Inverse of the Slayers too. I have seen both voice actresses in appearances at anime conventions. Cynthia Martinez is like an anime character in real life too! I got her autograph and chatted with her after a panel. She is a real sweetheart in RL with many entertaining stories about her voice acting experiences. Be sure to catch her if she comes to a convention near you. :)

I've never seen Slayers (although I have wanted to for a LONG time), and since Tenchi Muyo was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid, I'm going to say Ryoko. I need to watch that show again. I haven't seen it since Cartoon Network first aired it.

You have to check out the Slayers TV (without Naga). It is great! Tenchi is my favorite series but Slayers is definitely in my top 5 favorite animes ever too. It is a great mix of action, adventure, and comedy. It is anime that should not be missed!

Slayers has been on my list of anime to watch for quite some time. I always went to the Tommy K's Video in my town (which is now closed), and they had some Slayers tapes, but they were like volumes 4 and 5. I didn't want to start in the middle of the series. :p

You might look into joining Netflix since they have a pretty good selection of anime. (www.netflix.com) I have rented lots of hard to find series from them. It is a great way to check out both new and old anime before buying it and it has a much better selection then normal rental chains like Tommy K and Blockbuster. It looks like they have all of the Slayers DVDs, some with as many as 6 episodes per DVD. I hope you get to check out Slayers soon. :)

Urd is a great believer in the idea that the 'End justifies the Means', although, as Belldandy puts it: "...she gets so wrapped up in the means that she forgets what the end was."
