I think mgm of all studios had the rights to release this to DVD and when they got bankrupt, nobody knows of a release...

Whenever it comes out, I pray to God it's uncut. Wishful thinking on my part, I know, but I'm praying nonetheless.

To MGM or whomever plans on releasing this movie: DON'T TRIM THE RAFT SCENE!

just get it on e-bay. even if you get a c-dr it's still good and there uncut as well.:D

I've got an Asian VCD of "The Burning" that has all the grue intact, or at least most of it as I think the raft scene is still slightly trimmed, but the picture quality sucks. I'm hoping a big DVD release will fix all of these issues.
