Hey everybody,

With the release of "Superman Returns" being two months away, it's easy to assume that the post-production of the film is quickly coming to a wrap. One element that is still pounding away for the film is the music composing by the very talented John Ottman who has been with Bryan Singer ever since the first X-Men. One of my favourite sites, SoundtrackNet.com, has just posted an in-depth look into the scoring of the film and how he is trying to capture the essence that John Williams established in the original "Superman" movies. It's a very good read and I suggest it to all those interested. :D

Here is the link as some photos of the recording studio.

The code name for the movie is "Red Sun". Sweet!

Ottman didn't score X-Men, the late Michael Kamen did.

Ottman has also been collaborating with Singer since The Usual Suspects.

John Ottman did do X-Men 2 and X-Men 3 so technically he did to the X-men films, and If memory serves he was the editor for X-Men (not sure on that one).
