Wolf Man remake?

I was reading through Scr(i)pt magazine, and it said that there was a Wolf Man remake in the making, which would star Benicio Del Toro as the lead, and Andrew Kevin Walker would pen the script...

Anyone else hear about this?...

...Anyone else think Del Toro is perfect and at the same time weird casting for the Wolf Man?
