The 51st US state?

I checked my email today and my friend sent me a link to a very intriguing website that moves to create a new 51st state of America. It took me back by surprise in learning that there are people that actually support such a crazy idea. It's almost insulting to consider such a thing.

What do you guys think?

Exactly. Almost the majority of their population live off our welfare programs, and that’s excluding all the billions and billions of dollars we give to the Puerto Rico federal government... been doing this for decades. They might as well be the 51st state...
