"They should have almost as much work put into as the film itself"
They can't be just for monetary reasons, the people that worked on the film should pay "All Eyes Attention" when their respective movies come out on DVD and try to put as much effort on them having something (or say something) and being good as they did for the movie itself
Shit, as long as no Exceutive A'hole gets in the way of course...
I'm listing 2 examples (Haven't seen much though):
THE DEVIL'S REJECTS DVD was awesome, has everything a Horror DVD should have... as well for aspiring film makers. The documentaries owned...
Recently checked Universal's THE THING ULTIMATE EDITION DVD...
For a great classic it has The comentaries the behind the scenes, the production stills, artwork and much more...
Anyway, the point is to express what should be worked on when making a Horror DVD: the creativity, the Special Features, the messages, and so on...
NOTE: I'm putting this thread cuz' lately I've been seeing a lot of "empty shit" on DVD's (Especially horror, If you now what I mean) and that's just wrong... I hope we put here some examples on Good Horror DVD'S and why's too... or what should be done... your choice...
So, what do you think?
