Story of Ricky/Fist of the North Star

This is an interesting subject: these aren't horror movies, but there is tons of insane gore in both - if somebody tried to make the Fist of the North Star anime movie into live action, and make it faithful to the source material (not like the 1995 HBO-made piece of shit with Gary Daniels), it would cost hundreds of millions of dollars, and no producer with that kind of money would put it up, because the movie would be slapped with an NC-17 for the violence, easy.

Anybody else know of other non-horror movies that contain the type of OTT violence that is usually reserved for zombie and slasher movies?

I saw Story Of Ricky about 2 weeks ago with a bunch of friends and that was awesome !! I laughed my ass a few times :D

It's so funny !!! and yes it's really really gory but a gore with a lot of humor.
The scene where Ricky loses his friend (near the beginning, after he gave him a flute because he could not whistle in...a leaf !!! :D :D :p ) is hilarious.

That was very ...."emotional" :D
