1. Moses Pray in PAPER MOON
2. Oliver Barrett in LOVE STORY
3. Jerry Fox in Miss Match
4. Gregory Stark in ZERO EFFECT
5. Cary Launer in PEOPLE I KNOW
6. Dr. Howard Bannister in WHAT’S UP, DOC?
7. Jack Ryan in THE BIG BOUNCE (1969)
8. Leo Harrigan in NICKELODEON
9. Eddie Scanlon in THE MAIN EVENT
10. Lew Lewiston in SMALL SACRIFICES

A lousy real-life husband, father and all-around person (despite his recent battle with leukemia)...but one can't deny his talent.

Is BARRY LYNDON worth my fucking time?

Oh the nerve starting a Ryan O' Neal performance thread not having seen Barry Lyndon.

I haven't seen anything besides Lyndon, but please see the movie and afterwards, find me a more beautiful one.

I definately agree. His performance in Barry Lyndon is outstanding, as is the whole film. Definately my favorite performance of his - but his performance in Paper Moon was excellent as well.

^ Like the gentlemen said.

He's fine in Paper Moon, and that film would be the highlight for many actors' careers, but Mr. O'Neal was chosen to bring Stanley Kubrick's vision to life. THIS makes him, at least temporarily, an immortal.
