Mine would have to be Vasily Borodin in The Hunt For Red October. I just like the way he commands the screen whenever he is on. His portrayal as a man who is there to do his job is great, but there are also the little moments when we see him as a normal guy. For example when he is talking about owning an RV and having two wives. Great performance.

Another worthy one is as Dr William Weir in Event Horizon. He starts out so innocently and falls into madness as the love for his ship overrules his desire to do anything rational.
