Sequels that are more like remakes

Return of the Living Dead 2--- Same people, same story, zombies.

Jaws 2--- Jaws is taking over the bay again, it's happening all over again.

Evil Dead 2--- It's like the EXAT SAME THING!!

That's always been a misconception. The first fifteen minutes are like a mini-recap of the first movie (they couldn't get the original footage and cut it down to just Ash and Linda for simplicity purposes), the rest is new.

have you even seen the movie, Same people? as i recall there where no kids is return, and no punks in return 2. it was a continuation of 1 pure and simple where a cannister falls off the truck and gets opened.

With stating the return 2 is more like a remake then a sequel then you might as well add all the Jason Movies, freddy Movies, Chucky movies, Predator 2, saw 2, and practilly every other horror sequel.

I do on the other hand agree with you on the other selections

wHAT i MEAN IS THAT there are actors from the first that play a similar part to the first one. And it is the same story, the gas escapes into the graveyard and the zombies take over the area. part 3 is origional. 4 is kind of origional. And five is confusing because the teens act like they never even been through the tragety.

But they are supposed to be a sequel.
