The General`s Daughter was a nightmare (at least for me) 4.3/10
Tomb Raider (see above)
Con Air was very, very masterful action movie, let`s say 7.7/10

Wow, someone even worse than Michael Bay. Looked at his filmography on IMDB and was astounded at this list of piss poor attempts. Too bad thay all made money. Means he'll get to continue working. Shame on the movie-going sheep.

The General's Daughter (6/10, but this may be inaccurate as I barely remember the film)

Averages out to a 5.33, which I think is a good ratnig for him.

CON AIR is a fun action movie, though it's also pretty dumb, way too macho and has what I consider Nicolas Cage's worst performance ever... the guy is monotone beyond belief and his accent gets on my nerves... everytime I hear that "Viva Las Vegas" line I want to nail his lips shut.

**SPOILER**

THE GENERAL'S DAUGHTER was incredibly predictable... I guessed Timothy Hutton was the bad guy just from watching the trailer. Besides, it wasted an altogether great cast.

And TOMB RAIDER... an incoherent, badly-filmed mess. One of 2001's worst films. I hate it with a passion and it made me see that Angelina Jolie is way overrated... though she did look good in that costume.

THE CONCLUSION? Simon West makes movies that rely more on name power than directorial style, which he severely lacks. So, to put it simply, HE BLOWS.
