Nothing facetious about it. I didn't much like Saving Private Ryan and I enjoyed The Basketball Diaries. The only reason SPR was there in the first place is because I loved the opening battle and the closing battle, those two scenes alone were better then some of the films released in the 90's. What I'm getting at is that I enjoyed all of The Basketball Diaries and basically only those two battle scenes of SPR and, possibly, a couple others.
EDIT: Though, as I said, I enjoyed all of BD, I put one of my many "honorable mentions" in its place at number 50 and put BD under HM. This after plenty of thinking.
