I like all of Pixar's movies, especially the Toy Story movies, but The Incredibles just blew me away with its combo of action, story, characters, development, and kickass animation.

Totally Toy Story

The Incredibles. All their movies are cute and wonderful, but The Incredibles is truly their most mature and cinematic film. Really seals Brad Bird as a total genius of animation - his other feature, The Iron Giant, is also wonderful, mature and extremely underrated. The Incredibles has that special touch of being self-conscious as a film, referencing certain retro styles and aesthetics without actually parodying anything specific, like previous Pixar films did. It is also the most beautifully animated. Dunno, I guess it just clicked with me the most.

They really haven't done a bad film, though, and I gave all their films 8/10 (except for A Bug's Life, which got 7/10 and The Incredibles, which gets a boosted 9/10).

The Incredibles and Finding Nemo were kind of a letdown. Decent family films but nothing truly memorable and it's because of them why my anticipation for Cars is not nearly as high it might otherwise be.

As far as what is really the best, it probably goes to Toy Story or Toy Story 2, but I voted for Monster's Inc because I just enjoyed it so freakin much, despite its flaws.

The Incredibles is a masterpiece. Amazing action s cenes, memorable characters, great villian, and a script so smart, witty and so adult that it blows most live action films away. Just dont go in expecting a comedy cause its not a comedy.

Finding Nemo

I think the real genius of this film lies in the ending.

You didn't have the standard ending where the good and bad guys have the climatic battle. All you have is a parent finally taking the ultimate risk: having faith in his child's own abilities.

I thought that was absolutely brilliant, and it worked.
