Actually, Monte Cristo's name is really Edmond Dantes, but that's just being picky.

The Count of Monte Cristo is a much better revenge story.
I mean, come on, Alexandre Dumas vs. John "Bats" Logan?

Definitely Gladiator.If you`ve read the book, the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" will be very boring and even funny to a certain extend.

THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO

This is one of the best films ever made,let alone one of the best of 2002.It has more of an adventure feel to it.Yet the acting wasn't Skasphear,I was gripped from point A to point B.

Even though Gladiator was an entertaining movie.It wouldn't hold up by the end.It got too slow and more boring as it progressed.The fact of trying to have it with your sister is quite foolish.Yet still a great movie,wouldn't keep me gripped.
