Ok, more gossip. I'm sorry. :D
Britney Speaks: "I'm a Good Mom"
by auditioning contributor Sara
In an interview with Matt Lauer to be aired this Thursday on Today and Dateline, Britney Spears defends her marriage and her abilities as a mom. Refuting speculation from tabloids, Britney describes her marriage to Kevin Federline as "awesome," and says, "I know I'm a good mom."
Britney even addresses the controversy she caused by driving with her baby, Sean Preston, in her lap, an incident caught on camera by the paparazzi. "I did it with my dad. I'd sit on his lap and I'd drive. We're country." Britney says the paparazzi's constant attention on her and her family has left her an "emotional wreck," and she believes they have "crossed the line a bit" by taking pictures of her in private
moments.

She doesn't look like an "emotional wreck" in this pic. And what's that shit about "we're country"? Like that's an excuse for drving around with your kid on your lap- in LA of all places.

Not to start RANTING or anything...
Britney...please, just shut up.
No matter what kind of sugar coated spin you try to put on this, it ain't working.
Her marriage to "Le Douchebag" Federline is "awesome".
Awesome?
Really?
...hey, I'm not in their musk scented home, watching what's going on, so who am I to say whether rumors of him porking other women while leaving her and the baby at home are true?
Oh, and "I'm a good mom".
Narrowly dropping the kid, not strapping the kid in properly or driving with the baby on her lap....not a lot of good evidence proving that.
But you go on the Today Show, Britney, and tell the nation "Hey, everything's fine! Marriage is awesome! I'm a good mama! Go buy "Popazao"! It rocks! Whoo!"
Whatever it takes to help you sleep at night, lady.
(Which might include that male nanny of hers.)
Oops...I guess I did it again.
Sorry, Brit.

And she says as quoted "I KNOW I AM A GOOD MOM...." Being that u have 2 doesn't make ya Mother of the Year. You have a lot more to go to gain that title.

*Turns to Britney*
BITCH, PLEASE!!
It would take years of psychotherapy, marriage counseling, parenting classes and rehab to make you two white trash dip shits into good parents. Calling you retarded is insulting to the handicapped of the world. And no amount of interviews, spin control or nice pics you take will change that. So shut the fuck up!

Just because you drove like that with your dad in the sticks does not make it okay to do it everywhere else.
Poor Matt. He looks like he's been hijacked by a crazed yard sale shopper. (No offense to the sane yard sale shoppers at Joblo.)

When I see pics and previews for this, I can't get over the fact that her face just looks terrible. It looks like someone slapped her in the face with some make-up.

Anyone else think Britney sounds incredibly uneducated?
Since when is "We're country" an excuse for being a negligent ignorant fool? I know what you're all thinking, but for real..who the hell prides themselves on still living that stereotype??

Love that smiley.:D
Yeah, she's "country". I'd just like to know what country so I never go there and run into such idiotic and poorly groomed people.
It would be admirible to defend yourself WHEN you can do it without being so waist deep in denial, you need a flotation device. Much like other stars trying to put a positive spin on their problems, she's on deck and failing miserably.
I just think those that consider themselves "country" are insulted at this point. And looking at this twisted, trailer hitch of a woman, you have my condolences.
Spears considering next birth in Namibia
Friday, June 16, 2006; Posted: 12:17 p.m. EDT (16:17 GMT)
WINDHOEK, Namibia (AP) -- Following in the steps of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Britney Spears is considering a Namibian birth for her next baby, a government official said Friday.
Deputy Environment and Tourism Minister Leon Jooste said officials have received an inquiry on behalf of the 24-year-old pop star, who has a 9-month-old son, Sean Preston, with husband Kevin Federline.
"She has shown interest to come over to Namibia," Jooste said by telephone from a conference in neighboring South Africa. "Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there is a definite possibility of that happening."
He declined to provide further details, saying: "She wants to come in very low profile and have some privacy. She might change her mind if we reveal too much now."
There was no immediate response from Spears' New York-based representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, to requests by The Associated Press seeking comment.
Spears, who recently announced she is expecting a second child, has taken a beating in the tabloids, which have questioned her parenting skills. She has been photographed driving with Sean Preston in her lap, and nearly dropped him when she tripped outside a New York City hotel.
Spears would probably appreciate some of the peace and privacy that Pitt and Jolie enjoyed when their daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, was born last month in the sleepy southwest African nation.
The Namibian government shielded the Hollywood couple from the paparazzi, insisting that visiting journalists obtain permission in writing to cover them.

At least now this will take the media's laser-like focus off of Denise Richards.

Tell that to her kid who'll now have a speech impediment (after having been dropped by the nanny or whoever else).
I don't give a damn if her redneck of a father had her "drive" in his lap when she was a kid. It didn't make it any less safer. And what happened to the excuse of the papparazzi chasing her? Is that out now?
