Madonna has friend-divorced Britney Spears after her Kabbalah protege posted a note on her Web site stating: “I no longer study Kabbalah, my baby is my religion.” Madonna introduced Spears to Jewish mysticism in 2003 and in the years that followed was spotted reading up on the religion and wearing Kabbalah’s signature red string.

“Madonna spent months teaching Britney the Kabbalah system and splashed out thousands on the ancient scripture for her,” according to a source quoted by Music News, which also reports that Madonna is demanding that Spears return the twelfth-century book on Kabbalah that she gave her as a wedding present. The source adds: “She feels she has wasted time, money and precious gifts on Brit.”

Spears (who was raised a Baptist) is now consulting with a Christian “life coach” and praying in her meditation room in order to deal with her troubled marriage.

Well, I guess this means no more deep kissing on award shows! ;)

You've got a point, Menti.

Hell, if people didn't share their opinions on matters in a forum where you're told you can share your opinions...well, that's the point of a forum, isn't it? And as long as we don't "flame" other members for their opinions or threads they create, we can pretty much share those opinions and create as many "Madonna's an over the hill poser sea hag media whore bitch" threads as we want.

Pointing out the flaws of stars, those who we hold so high above us is, in a way, a means to bring those stars a little further down from the pedestals they're placed on. (My personal opinion).

When stars are phoney, stuck up, idiotic, or just plain pitiful in their actions, it's almost theraputic to sound off on a star that starts following a religion because "a friend" turned her onto it and suddenly because she's being branded a bad mom, she gives up that religion (toucher her soul, didn't it?) and says "her baby is her religion".

Numnuts says "what"? Your baby is your religion? No, Britney. You're just a simple, mid western girl that doesn't think for herself and makes pressured decisions that are usually bad.

And then you started talking to Madonna (RED FLAG! RED FLAG!) which was bad mistake #3234 (see "Marrying a douchebag dancer for mistakes #20-3233) and now The Material Gargoyle won't talk to her.
