Has anyone watched any of the tv series? What did you think of it? While I was working at my local video shop I found some and had to dig them out. I found it really hard to watch an entire epsiode in one sitting. It has the same feeling as the Robocop tv series, you feel alittle depressed and left behind.
I think they had big expectations for this show. Robert Englund, Tobe Hooper, Sean.S.Cunningham all take part yet it still lacks any of the first movies tension/style. If I had nothing to do one night and had a 6 pack by my side I would easily give these another chance but untill then.

I remember watching these on TV when they first came out! I was so excited that there was going to be a weekly tv series based on my favorite movies. I was pretty let down real quick and never could really get into it. I was dissapointed that Freddy wasn't in all the episodes. I wouldn't mind checking them out again for nostalgic purposes!

I agree. I really hope this series will eventually get some sort of DVD release.

I really wanted to see this show but I was too young to watch it when it originally aired so i had no idea. They should have released the episodes along with the Nightmare Series Set. It truly would be the definitive set if they did. Maybe someday in the future they'll re-release the set with the new version of "A Nightmare On Elm Street" with all the added special features, Freddy VS. Jason added and the tv show.

I definitley remember watching FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES when I was a kid. Since I am an avid fan I would love for a box set to come out even though I don't necessarily think the show would be all that great now that I'm older. I asked ROBERT ENGLUND if there was any talk of a box set when I met him at Monster Mania 6 but he could only tell me what I already knew. That there is only a box set in the UK right now and there has been no mention of bringing one stateside. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
