What films had such an effect on you that you wish you could completely wipe your memory of them and watch them for the first time again? My choices would be:
1: The Shawshank Redemption
2: Flowers For Algernon
3: Termintor 2
4: Jurrasic Park
5: The Usual Suspects

Yep, definately The Usual Suspects. And I guess The Sixth Sense. I didn't watch The Sixth Sense until almost a year after it was released. By then everybody knew about the ending.

The Usual Suspects, absolutely. The first time I saw it, I didn't really know what I was watching and I think I even came in like halfway through. This was years ago, but it's never the same. However, everytime I see it, it juts gets better and better.
Others would be The Crying Game, Chasing Amy, Carrie, Vertigo...and a ton of others.

I wish I could see American Beauty again for the first time. I left the theater remembering why I love movies so much. How many movies have that effect?!

I saw The Empire Strikes Back, Planet of the Apes and The Usual Suspects having already known the twists. I wish I could watch it again without having known them.

Those last two were spoiled in the reviews of some dimwitted critic who didn't even bother to put spoiler warnings at the beginning.

I'd love to watch Terminator 2 over and over again for the first time every single day. I want to experience the thrills and excitement like I did when I first bought the video and watched in stunned silence! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/cool.gif
