The Terminator Vs. The Predator

This is a topic my wife and all my friends and I have been debating alot lately, who would win in a fight (this is not which movie do you like better) The Predator (from the first movie) Vs. The Terminator (from the first movie). I would really like to know what you guys think. I didn't know if this would be the right section to post this in but oh well I want some answers. Thanks

I gotta say Terminator. He would shoot the predator down. And since he's a robot Predator wouldn't be able to pull any of that invisibility shit on him.

Plus we all know that in a match, no matter who it is, the governor of California prevails:D

I picked Predator, although I really think it depends on which film they're in.


If they're in the jungle, Terminator has a fighting chance...no hydraulic presses anywhere and he can simply rip off his flesh covering and go undetected by Pred's infrared.

If they're in the city, no goddamned way. Pred's way too smart and stealthy for the T-800 to catch him (after all, if the machinery in the factory could help cover Sarah and Reese's escape, then the invisible Predator has it made). Maybe if it was the T-1000 or the TX, he'd have more of a run for his money.

The terminator was blowen in half by a pipe bomb and predators plasma canon is about 10,000x more powerful then a pipe bomb. I think the greatest hunter in the universe could take the terminator (whom was beaten by 2 people one of which was a scared woman, the other whom was a well trained soldier but not the best) and don't get me wrong I love the terminator

Yeah and the Predator was killed by a wounded guy...ONE GUY!!! After killing an entire squad of Green Berets. He'd get smoked by the Terminator (who killed an entire police station full of armed cops).

Predator would plasma cannon him until he's ash. Its a tougher one to call without that though and if the Terminator actually would show up on the Predator's vision thing.

The Terminator was taken out by two people a women and a wounded soldier. Predator took out 2 whole units before succoming to arnold once he had found out about his infrared sight by fluke.

I thought Terminator would sweep this poll but the voting is closer than I imagined. If we had ourselves a steel cage match here between the two, no weapons of any kind I would give this match to the Terminator hands down! Otherwise, who knows? I would still lean towards the T-800 but I guess it could go either way. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

That made me laugh so hard. And i bet she would too :D

Though, really, I think the T has a better chance. Not detectable by IR. Not a living being = won't get tired/scared/feel pain (I know, it can "sense" damage).

But it would make a hell of a fight. Great idea.

The Terminator is an assembly line robot with a basic thought program. The Predator can think and has much more of a survival instinct. Predator would stab the Terminator in the eyes with his claws. Pred wins.
