I persoanlly prefer DVDSpot.com (www.dvdspot.com) by a mile.
I have used DVDAfficionado bt found it to be a very inferior system.

Totally agree. I was loyal to DVDAf for quite a while, and then found DVDSpot, and kept using both of them for awhile not wanting to complete ditch DVDAF, but yeah, i now only use DVDSpot.com. So my recommendation goes with DVDSpot.

But if you could be bothered you could add it to DVDSpot yourself, one reason I choose DVDSpot over DVDaf without a doubt.

Usually I'm not in the habit of doing that...but I took your advice and at least looked at the Add DVD section...holy shit! there is a lot of stuff you have to fill out...I'm not even sure if it will qualify...It says at the top no Non-Cinema DVDs...anyway this is the DVd I'm talking about...

Thanks alot for the help, peoples. I did make an account over at Dvdspot. It's a very slow process though, adding all my dvds to that.

DvdSpot.com is far superior IMO as well. I had an Aficionado account way back in the day, then I found DvdSpot. It was a tedious process to transfer all my shit, but it was worth it.
Oh, and to anyone on Dvdspot, my names Forceofhabit13 if you want to add me.

I didn't find it any slower than DVDaf, truth is it's tedious the first time you do it no matter what system you use.

The thing about adding to DVDSpot is you can add anything that has a UPC code, and if it's a legally produced DVD it will have a UPC.

Actually last night...I said fuck it and went ahead and submitted it...filled everything out and all that...guess I have to wait now and see if they approve it.

Did you guys know you can also submit titles at DVDaficionado as well?
Needless to say, I think I will be checking out this site when I come back today.

I've contribured about 20 DVDs to DVDSpot.com yeah. It's way easier to submit additions on DVDSpot than DVDAf, at least in my experiences they have been.
They have also approved one that had no barcode that I own. (It's an Atmosphere music DVD). And at one point, before I ever had to submit anything for approval on DVDSpot, they had 100% of the DVDs i had at the point in their database, while DVDAF, there was about 4 or 5 DVDs that werent in their database.
So yeah, DVDSpot > DVDAF by far.

I recently joined DVD Spot. Is there an easy way to select all of my DVDs under OWNED to WATCHED without having to do them individually?

DVDAf is also much worse for Region discrimination, as I live in the UK I have an electic selection of DVDs in different regions and always found DVDaf to be quite region one-centric.

Not so far as I have noticed, although if this feature is available I would also be happy to be ware of it :)

I use both... but prefer DVDSpot... I basically continue to use DVDAf because their database is a bit larger and I had that account first. My titles were already entered so I figured why the hell not just keep adding them...
Oh, and HeavyFknMetal I added you on Spot :D

I love DVDspot. I used to use guzzlefish, but when that went to crap, I searched and found the spot. It's awesome.

I've used aficionado for about a year now but you guys just talked me into getting a dvdspot account. Running two sounds like fun. Thanks chaps.

Must say I'm kinda surprised nobody's mentioned DVD Profiler (http://www.intervocative.com/) yet, which is what I use. I looked at DVDAf a while back, but it didn't offer everything DVDPro does, so I've stuck with DVDPro ever since. Haven't heard of DVDSpot until now, so I'll have to see what they have to offer.

You know I was just about to register to these places until I realized...myjoblo.com is going to have that same feature. I'll hold out. :)
