POTC: Dead Man's Chest question

As "Dead Man's Chest" and "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" were filmed back to back, is there any chance of there being a trailer for the third instalment following the credits of DMC, a la the trailer for Revolutions following Matrix Reloaded?

they more or less were. (now this is all on what I've heard, I could be wrong) after DMC was finished they already had a quarter of the scenes shot for the third installment, and as of now I think it if now all finished shooting.


I doubt they'll have a trailer for it at the end of DMC though.

All the Caribbean exterior scenes for POTC 3 were filmed during POTC 2. Also, some of the outdoor island scenes. They still have to film the interiors and scenes from L.A. They are supposed to resume that filming in July. Probably take 2 or 3 months more filming.

During the Premiere, I believe Johnny said they're going to resume filming here either late July, or early August. It took them 2/3 a year to shoot principal photography, so That must have saved them big bucks filming the third exteriors at the same time.

There was originally some talk of the Pirates 3 trailer would debut after the credits of Dead Man's Chest. The idea was scrapped however, as to allow a key plot twist at the end of the second to build some momentum through talk and speculation as to what would happen in the third. Think of it this way, by not releasing the 3rd trailer eary people will be talking about the 2nd and what could happen in the 3rd longer. Right now, talk of the trailer for Pirates 3 is that it will debut with the movie Invincible.

edit: Edit to note that the information that I have from this is a couple months old, as there is still word that something will follow the credits, I cannot confirm what it is.

I heard that there's something at the end of the credits anyway. Is that the trailer rumor, or is it something a la X:Men: The Last Stand? Either way, I'm sticking around to the end of the credits . . . and now that I've said that - there better be something there damnit!!! :D

What's extremely retarded? What's at credits' end of X-Men? POTC2? The fact that I'm sticking around until the end of the credits to see something totally pointless? All three?

I don't mind what the answer is, I'm just curious - I mentioned a lot of stuff in my post and you just mentioned "it's."
