Does anyone have this? Is it worth it to give it a try? It seems like a great deal, does anybody have any comments/complaints about it?

I'm trying the one month free of Blockbuster and I'm pretty darn impressed with it. I know a lot of Netflix customers were pretty angry when they found out that the more you rent movies, the slower the turnaround is. There's a couple threads on here about it if you use the search. I think I'm going to try Netflix once the free version of Blockbuster is up and decide which one I like best.

Netflix is doing alright with me...I send a movie back, and in 3-4 more days I get a new one.

Every once in a while though, you get a bad DVD. One that starts skipping halfway through, and then for the rest of the movie. Once I got a DVD that was broken in half.

But overall...I love it.

NetFlix is awright....

I have been on board w/ them since Sept 2005...

Yes they do throttle you now and then....... so what else is knew...
I frequent the libraries a lot and often come across some good ones and if they happen to be on my QUEUE.......... off it goes!

Have not been back to a Blockbooster since my membership expired long LONG time ago....:D

Netflix has been pretty good for me. I don't really like the 3 day turnover, but I never have to go to the video store either so whatever. I've gotten a few DVDs that have been pretty fucked, but it happens I guess.

I get Netflix, and out of the 100+ movies I've rented only about five were unplayable.

I love it.

I've only had one movie arrive broken and never had one that didn't play.

Their selection is pretty sweet, too.

I read a review on netflix and blockbuster a while ago and they say that during the free tial of both of them blockbuster beats netflix by sending out the movies faster. after the free trial netflix wins cuz blockbuster starts to slow down. It all depends on where you live though cuz i have net flix and if i send one movie back on monday i get a new one tuesday or wensday depending if i send it back before the mail gets picked up monday. so i would say netflix is the way to go

I love it as well. With Netflix, I can rent any movie that I would never find at my local Blockbuster or video store (especially the foriegn films).

I've been trying to get Netflix but my parents won't allow it because they already pay like 70 bucks for cable with all the HBO's and such. Once I get a job I'll try to get it though. I always miss out on too many movies because I don't have access to them. Thats about to change after I get my first paycheck and the world of asian horror shall open up to me:D

I have had Netflix for about 2 months and it is great in my opinion. The selection of films is great, especially if you like to rent foreign films. Some of the disks aren't in the greatest condition but I never had a problem playing them. The only bad thing is waiting for movies to arrive (5 days for me).

My gf pays for this and we've been slacking. I think we've had 2 of the 3 movies for over a month.

The longest I have kept movies out was about 2 weeks.
