View Full Version : Need help identifying a 1980's film

All I remember (somewhat) is the trailer I saw back in the 1980's on T.V.. The voiceover said something like "...some people think he's crazy. ...some people think he's...evil.". As we hear the voiceover we see the "he" being talked about from the shoulders up. He was possibly nude (we only see him from the shoulders up like I just said), he was sweating, had short dark hair, his head was trembling, racially speaking he was "White", his eyes were glowing either orange or red, and his teeth were "dirty" and growing in length.

Anyone know which film this is?

There's really not a lot to go on here. Shot in the dark, but Warlock comes to mind. I'm probably way off, though.

Fright Night? maybe. Never seen the trailer but it sounds like Jerry Dandrige to me.

It just might be Rawhead Rex. Now if only I could find and watch the trailer...:( Then I think and hope I'd know for sure if it was or wasn't "it".

It's not Raw head rex (I own the dvd+trailer, Rex is not human and does not transform)

It sounds like a teaser for the first Howling (orangr/red glowing eyes, trembling head, growing teeth, sweating...)It sounds like Eddie Quist's transformation scene...

could also be from another Howling flick, sure you don't remeber more?

your right...but he saw this on t.v., most t.v. spots are messy to say the least, especialy in the 80s (the t.v. spot for the original Fog is terrible)where you couldn't even tell what t5he movie's about!

Plus M_Burlock does not remeber a whole lott...I'm sticking with the Howling.

I just checked the trailers for Howling 1,3,4, and 5 at videodetective.com. It's not any of them.

The t.v. spot of The Howling is almost word for word what you discribed but as KillerKlown said before Eddie Quist has long hair...Could it be the werewolf flick Bad Moon...I don't have that one yet but this guy had short hair and from what I remeber that transformation seqeunce is a lott like the Howling...Could also be the Keep, thers is a guy in that flick who is the oposite of the demon Molasar (the one locked inside the Keep), he transforms(gets bigger, glowning eyes, no teeth though..)much like the way you discribed...will dig some more...
