Hasselhoff Plans Self-Titled Musical

Former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff loves being on stage so much, he has written a musical for himself.

The star is getting back to what he loves best -- performing in musical theater with the "David Hasselhoff Musical."

He tells USA Today, "I've already arranged and written it with the guys who did 'Chicago.'

"I love musical theater. That's what I started off to do when I was 7 and my first show was 'Peter Pan.'

"I loved doing 'Jekyll & Hyde' (a 2001 musical). I loved 'Billy Flynn' (on stage) in London.

"I love the audience. I love the fun of a live show."

The curtains open and KITT, the car from Knight Rider rolls out with David Hasselhoff and one of Pamela Anderson's boobs (on loan) on the hood of the car!
The crowd is confused at first...and then he begins to sing the show's theme song:

"It's a Hassle To Be Hasselhoff"
and the crowd goes wild!


(There are reasons why I don't go to Broadway shows. THIS is a pretty good example. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, but a show about himself? Sorry, Michael Knight, but you won't be getting MY money. Turbo boost over this one, Schmoes.)

Seriously though, rent that Mr Hyde musical he did.. the dvd is stunning as it was filmed in hidef, the musical play was very good and he ruled believe it or not.
