What is the name of this flick?

I think it is set during ww2, but not sure, what I remember is a plane crashes on an Island, might be Japanese, and the survivors of the crash wind up at some abandoned military base where they build themselves a bunch of kick ass vehicles to escape with.

No worries, it's just some goofy flick I watched allot when I was a kid. I have it on beta somewhere, all I need to do is fix the fucking machine.
