Not so much an "action" movie but still has numerous great moments. It's very emotional and such but its better than most other action movies anyways.

I'd reccomend BR as everything except an action movie (eventhough it's so much fun if you watch it with a group of people without getting too into it . . . talk about several levels of engagement).
Just watch the japanese flick "Versus" and "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" for insane action sequences that just kick ass (especially the latter).

I thought Final Fantasy 7 was extremely cheezy, the part where Cloud was jumping and everyone kept helping him get higher was the lamest thing I have ever seen in a movie. And the dialogue was unbearably bad.

If you've seen Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade there's really no reason to look any further. As far as I'm concerned, it's the definitive action film.
Some of the others listed here are good, to be sure, but nothing I've seen has topped Last Crusade.

I was very impressed by the film as a whole. A few parts may have been a little cliche' or "I've seen this before", but so do most movies. The DVD is very cheap now-a-days and is worth the price just to hear Gibson's quirky remarks, alone.
Overall, I give it a 7.5/10 (Though I would be more willing to give it an 8 than a 7).

FACE/OFF
Also essential:
The Rock
The Crow
Hard Boiled
Highlander
Batman
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin (optional for those who must see everything)
Batman Begins
Gladiator
U-571
Equilibrium
Reign of Fire
Stealth
The Island
Universal Soldier
Okay, the last few may not be essential, but I loved them.

I agree that the battle scenes did look stellar though, I just had major problems with the films narrative story telling and dialogue.

Face/Off and Demolition Man are good ones (especially Face/Off, with the latter just being a fun, dumb, action movie...'gotta love those types).

Most of the good 'uns have been mentioned, but I'd like to add Aliens, the James Bonds (esp. the old Connery ones, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies and GoldenEye), the Untouchables, Kiss of the Dragon, Unleashed and Ronin.
I've not read through all the other posts so excuse any repeats here
I saw Rush Hour 1 and 2 on your list. Piss awful films that do Jackie Chan no favours, see him at his best in...
Police Story
Drunken Master
Project A
Dragons Forever
Operation Comdor
John Woo's best...
Hard Boiled
The Killer
Bullet in the Head
Sammo Hung...
The Prodigal Son (The best martial arts movie ever made)
Eastern Condors
Warriors Two
And some random ones...
House of Flying Daggers
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Ong Bak
Fist of Fury [AKA: The Chinese Connection]
That ought to keep you entertained.
