Bizarre Brown Antics Spoil New Edition Reunion

Bobby Brown reunited with his New Edition bandmates on stage Sunday night, but his pretentious antics had the audience yelling for him to get off the stage.

The singer, who is married to pop star Whitney Houston, left the band in the 1980s to pursue a solo career but he returned to his roots for two songs at the Essence Music Festival in Houston, Texas.

As the other five members of the soulful group moved through slick choreography, Brown ran around the stage wildly performing raunchy dance moves.

After the band brought the crowd to its feet with their performance of "Mr. Telephone Man," Brown then left the stage and the remainder of the group -- original members Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, plus Johnny Gill, who replaced Brown -- performed several ballads.

Brown followed with a solo set that started with "Don't Be Cruel," then quickly turned to more raunchy dancing and talk about his sex life with Houston.

By the time he finished "My Prerogative," Brown was shirtless and many in the audience were screaming for him to get off the stage.

Ugh, that sounds like it was a mess. Also sounds like the fans were starting to see through all the fuckin bullshit Brown put the group in throughout the years...

I'm starting to think the motherfucker never really gave a damn about the group really...just himself.

SHIVER ME TIMBERS...

I watched a VH1 Behind the Music show about New Edition and Bobby came off extremely arrogant, acting like he was the best thing about the band. While the others did find success and continue to do what they do, Bobby became a washed up joke. Their first reunion didn't work because of him, so I wondered why they would want him back.

The fans should have stormed the stage and thrown his ass off of it, LOL.

Bobby "Where's My Lighter?" Brown.
What happened?

I guess he never heard that song about "Leave That Crack Alone", hunh?

"Rusty! He doesn't smoke crack! How could you say that?"

That's not right. I retract my earlier comment.
I KNOW when he split from New Edition that it was "his perrogative" to start doing coke and completely fuck up his voice. Nobody was "humpin' around" with Bobby in the 90's unless they had a few grams on hand. Then he found a "tenderoni" in Whitney Houston and they turned their home into Studio 54 circa 1978.

(If you're looking to argue, just listen to his early work v.s. after the "My Perrogative album. Whatever he was smoking, sniffing, snorting, or applying was destroying his voice.)

So him and the Acid Queen frolic around in South Colombia for the next few years, act like asses and whenever New Edition wants to get back together to make some money, this joke of a man has to fuck it up for the others?

Mr.Brown, sit the fuck down.
The "Candy Girls" have all gone home.
"Mr. Telephone Man" cut off your service cause you didn't pay it.
You "Can't Stand The Rain" and "It Isn't Love" that I have for you.
It's disgust.
Wanna go to a Bobby Brown concert, Rusty?
"You're Gonna Have To Count Me Out"

Just fade away, dude.
