Keira Knightley tried to put rumors of an eating disorder to rest at a press conference for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," but her revealing dress at the premiere the night before may suggest otherwise.

The stunning star says allegations of an eating disorder are outrageous. "It was really weird, they (the press) said that to me yesterday, they went 'how does it feel to be called anorexic?' I had no idea that I was, I can safely say that I am not."Her statement came just a day after showing up to the London premiere of the new "Pirates" film looking skeletal in a gold Gucci dress slashed to the waist. On the red carpet she said, "I'm still thinking it was really inappropriate to wear this dress but its so hot I'm really glad I did."

Hot or not, rumors of anorexia plague many starlets, something Knightley understands comes with the territory. "It is understandable why you would associate that with high-achieving people in the film industry as well and I am not saying that there aren't people that suffer from it, because I am sure that there are, but I'm not one of them."

She did admit in an interview with the press that there is aneroxia in her family and that it is in the genes but that she doesn't suffer from it.

I have to admit that worried me a little but sometimes people are just naturaly thin. Fuck hitting hit though. I'd just look at her all day. No more no less.

Anorexia is an eating disorder, born out of mental problems.

Being skinny doesn't have anything to do with anorexia, since a LOT of people are naturally skinny. Keira has ALWAYS been skinny.

Besides, unlike people often seem to think, having body fat doesn't make you any healthier. If you're fit, but you don't have big muscles, skinny is what you are.

Simply being thin has nothing to do with anorexia. There are a wealth of mental and physical side effects that affect the entire body that are the real signal.

She just has a very minimal metabolism.
I used to date a woman like that.
She'd eat the biggest friggin meals and never gain a pound.
She had a similar body shape and it always amazed me.

And as far as Keira goes, I think she's pretty damned sexy.
Everybody has their own opinion of what is "sexy", so to each his own.

I saw Piretes o' the carrabian last night at 12 and she looked alot hotter in the movie then she is in that picture. In that picture, Im getting an image of her tripping for some reason and then snapping like a twig. I hope she doesn't die:( .

If stars are thin they are auto-anorexic, if they are slightly large they are obese. Either way most stars are billed as having an eating disorder when they really dont.

There is a difference between being anorexic and having anorexia nervosa. Being Anorexic just means your below what a scale says is your proper body weight. No eating disorder to it.

Ive been that way my whole life and i eat like a horse. She seems the same way.

I was like that as well, until I reached mid-20's. I could eat like a horse, and always stayed really skinny. At some point between 20 and 30 years people usually go through hormonal changes, which changes this. so eventually you start to gain some fat. Nowadays I eat half of what I used to eat, and I'm not as skinny as I used to be.

Im sure she has a personal trainer that keeps her in shape also, she doesnt exactly seem like some dim-bulb like Lohan and others that dive into super weight loss schemes.
