Hey everybody,
According to our pals over at DavisDVD.com, Italy has just announced the release of "The Da Vinci Code" for October 24th in an all-new extended cut of the film which I heard about a while ago. I think that Ron Howard practically filmed the entire book and then just cut out pieces of it to speed things up. Here is the blurb:
According to an Italian retail source, Sony Pictures will release a two-disc special edition Extended Cut of The Da Vinci Code on October 24th. Not quite sure if this date holds for the rest of Region 2 Europe, but for now it's apparently the release date in Italy. Thanks to Andrea Alfonso for the heads up.
Awesome, I wonder what it will be in North America, probably in November sometime.
