This movie sounds so cute. It looks like one of those pixary types of movies. The voices are Julia Roberts, Nicholas Cage and Meryl Steep. This is sure to be a hit.

Here's a quick synopsis:
Plot Summary: From Academy Award nominated filmmaker John A. Davis ("Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius") and producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman ("The Polar Express"), "The Ant Bully" tells a witty and heartwarming story about a 10-year-old boy who embarks on a remarkable journey. New in town, friendless and tormented by a neighborhood bully, young Lucas Nickle has been taking out his frustration on the innocent ant hill in his yard. But one day the ants retaliate. Using a magic potion, they shrink Lucas down to ant size and sentence him to live like an ant in their colony. In this strange new world Lucas will learn important lessons about friendship, get a whole new perspective on life and ultimately find the courage to stand up for himself.

They might as well have called this "A Bug's Life 3" ("A Bug's Life 2" was the Dreamworks movie "Antz".) I mean, I know that they re-hash ideas frequently in computer animated pictures, but this is already the THIRD movie featuring talking ants as characters. It all sounds a bit iffy to me...

After a while, whether it be plot or animation, these things are looking so damn generic. All that (lack of) effort shows me is, get the kids in, make the money, get them out, and we'll be lucky if our merchandise sells. Looks to be another animated mediocrity for 2006. I hope Monster House saves the year...

What is wrong with this picture?

I hereby nominate an worldwide law that Pixar will be the ONLY studio eligible to make computer animated movies.

These movies make me want to kick anthills and tip cows, and serve no purpose to the children that will turn into pussies and become genderconfused becase of them.

I was thinking more a long the lines of Honey I Shrunk the Kids type of adventure and I love that movie. Also, I didn't like Antz all that much to be honest with you. This movie just seems different.

It looks like Antz with a human in the mix.
