View Full Version : Is anyone as excited as me to see Spiderman 3?

Spiderman 3!! Althought from the begining i've been disappointed by the decision to cast Toby Maguire as Spiderman, I've kept an open mind and can honestly say i'm still impressed by the two movies that have been released. In any case, spiderman 3 looks kick ass. does anyone know who the villian is going to be?

i think you mean GREEN goblin and not the HOBgoblin...

I am looking forward to seeing this thing - the teaser was awesome and the first two were great comic book movies, with plenty of action, story, and character. I have little doubt that the third will deliver on all fronts as well.

Well that's how the comic book story goes, but I've read a couple places that he will hold the name HOBgoblin in this third installment.

Hey it might be wrong but I was/am still under that impression.

He becomes Green Goblin II, there is actually a third person who becomes Green Goblin III, Phil Urich, who actually was a good guy who once teamed up with Daredevil.

In the comics Hobgoblin was Roderick Kingsley, who stumbled on Normans journals and "Goblin gear" and decided to take on a new identity with his new tools. And I believe it was a modified Goblin formula too.
