That is sad news. I don't own any of his PF's Barrett era albums (yet) but that is sad indeed.

Heard this today on the radio while leaving the hospital. The guy had an LSD induced breakdown back in the day, which is why (I think) he split from Floyd.

I'd heard crazy stories about him having Acid mixed with some sort of skin absorption chemical coated on select door handles in his home, so that if he was ever raided the police would be in for a long night.

It was kind of weird hearing he was only 60 - for some reason a guy like that you think like he's Yoda-old.
