Not counting the Star Wars movies these are the films I've seen the most, I reckon. Most of them have had a head start from my childhood. A lot of them are comfort movies. (Like a blanket, but better) I couldn't even begin to guess how many times I've seen these. It must be well over 300 for Jaws.
1- Jaws (my Mother says I watched it every Sunday for, like, 5 years)
2-Blues Brothers (loved it as a kid, and hey, I still do)
3-Superman 2
4-True Romance
5-Highlander
6-Aliens
7-Taxi Driver

MorganOnyx,
Hey sorry, I haven't been here in a few days...I wasn't ignoring your questions.
Well, needless to say, I LOVED this movie! It's a very mellow, relaxing movie.
Yes, Sam Rockwell is in it, and I, personally, think that it was his best role. He was very natural...it honestly didn't seem like he was acting.
It's basically about an uptight, neurotic engineer named Al(John Turturro),who's pretty much having an emotional breakdown. After his job gets canceled, he decides to look for a lake from his childhood. Along the way, he runs into a young freespirit(Sam Rockwell), they spend some time together, and during this time, Al learns to lighten up a bit.
Well, I guess that crap description will do. That's pretty much the essence of the film. For a real description, just look it up on your search engine. I'd say go rent it, but I don't know if a lot of video stores carry it. I know none in my area have it. You can always grab a cheap copy off eBay.

3.Godzilla (US) = 7

2. Star Wars Trilogy- When I was younger I watched it every weekend for 2 years

DR MARTIN LUTHER LOOMIS -
Thanx for that dude. I haven't been here for a while either. I asked about SAM ROCKWELL cos he's one of my FAVOURITE actors. Ever since i first saw him in CLOWNHOUSE about 7 years ago (which is my favourite movie of all time), i knew he had talent, so i followed his career after that, and i am so happy to see that he has finally been recognised, I KNEW HE WOULD. With movies like GALAXY QUEST, CHARLIE'S ANGELS and THE GREEN MILE, it looks like he's hitting the big time, and nobody deserves it more. I also thought he was very good in LAWN DOGS. BOX OF MOONLIGHT sounds cool - i'll try and grab a copy.

I have seen...
Plains, Trains and Automobiles (10/10) (17 or 18 times)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (10/10) (10 or so times)
Mallrats (9/10) (8 times)
The Matrix (6/10); Home Alone (7/10) (when I was younger); Dumb and Dumber (9/10); Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (8/10); Liar, Liar (6/10); The Princess Bride (10/10) (7 times each)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (8/10) (5 times)
The Usual Suspects (10/10); While You Were Sleeping (8/10); Phenomenon (7/10); Michael (7/10); To Kill a Mockingbird (8/10) (4 times)
Pitch Black (7/10); Forrest Gump (8/10); L.A. Confidential (10/10); Gladiator (7/10); Fight Club (6/10); Saving Private Ryan (10/10); The Running Man (6/10); Kindergarten Cop (7/10); The Shawshank Redemption (10/10) (3 times)
Reservoir Dogs (9/10); Pulp Fiction (9/10); The Edge (9/10); Gattaca (9/10); The Godfather (8/10); Casino (7/10); Swingers (7/10); The Terminator (9/10); Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (6/10); The Green Mile (7/10); Boondock Saints (7/10); Schindler's List (10/10); Battlefield Earth (LOL. I thought I'd put that in for kicks and, no, I didn't like it either, I was just able to see it twice for free in the theatres.) (4/10) (Each movie, among many many others, 2 times)
I'm sure I will think of others later, but my list is long anough as it is so I won't waste any more time on the topic. For the record, I don't really like watching movies more than twice, if even that. Doing so has made me hate the following movies (well, maybe not HATE, but I definately don't ever want to watch them again now)...
The Matrix; Liar, Liar; Gladiator; Fight Club; Ace Ventura: Pet Detective; The Godfather; To Kill a Mockingbird; Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone; The Green Mile, among others as well.
On the flipside, these movie will never get old (I hope)...
Plains, Trains and Automobiles; Who Framed Roger Rabbit?; Mallrats; Dumb and Dumber; The Princess Bride; Terminator 2: Judgment Day; The Usual Suspects; While You Were Sleeping; The Shawshank Redemption; Reservoir Dogs; Pulp Fiction; The Edge; Gattaca; The Terminator

Well, the movies I see the most are often because they are "easy to watch"...when doing another activity, talking, parties...etc. not that some excellent films are not great upon repeated viewings...but I do prefer to pace myself:
And now, with that introduction...my first will make absolutely no sense!
-What About Bob----At least 100 times
-Moulin Rouge (at least 30 times)
-That Thing you Do----at least 20 times
-Beauty and the Beast-----at least 20 times
-Some Like it Hot----at least 10 times

Annie Hall,
You watched Moulin Rouge 30 times? Hell, I couldn't watch it once. I'd kill for your stamina.

Haha, trust me, I feel your pain (if you didn't like this movie). I do truly love this movie though, and every time I watched it was by choice. Now, when a friend of mine became obsessed with The Air up There...well...that was a terrible year.
