"We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" is the title supposedly.
Gotta love them indie album titles;)

Wow... This stimulates me in no way whatsoever. I mean, he could've just shot himself instead of joining one of my five most hated bands in the world.
But to each their own... Also, are why is an indie band a featured selection at Target?

Wow, and to think I didn't like Modest Mouse all these years. Looks like that's going to change.

Target is always changing the official categorizations. They must have done this . . . last night, yes. That probably explains notchreturns giant blunder there (not typed entirely as a throwaway remark to describe the typical indie-band album title).
You hate them, grand!, but ragging on their accessibilty by making a (rather acute) observation doesn't change anything regarding the indie love thrown towards them.

But to look at it positiviely, maybe Marr will shape things up, you know, drop the hammer on years of mediocrity. But I guess he's dead before the ship even left shore.
Know nothing of Marr, I am indifferent to his addition to the band and can only await the results.

Good points, but I was really more curious as to the supposed "indie scene" rather than ragging on them for being sold at Target.;)

This is really a pisser. Now I'm going to have to buy whatever record comes out next, because as a devout Smiths follower I have to buy the record no matter what because of Marr. Yet, I don't like Modest Mouse and now I'm going to explain to people why the sudden change of heart.

Pretty cool news...quite like Modest Mouse (bought The Moon & Antarctica a year or two back) and I'm really interested to see how Marr will affect their sound.

Probably, The Moon and Antartica. Lonesome Crowded West is great, too.
This is a Long Drive... and Building Something out of Nothing have some amazing material on them also.
And... Good News. Probably their weakest, but still has some great racks.
