superb first time I have seen that, one of Britain’s hottest bands with one of the best British actors around right now, a great combination.
love videos that are a bit of a short story not many bands do things like that but with this one and "when the sun goes down" they seam to enjoy doing it with their songs.

Thing is...NME gave the song a pretty lacklustre review a few weeks back and I thought, "Hmmm...maybe this is the beginning of the backlash." Now that i've heard the song I don't understand what's no to like. It's a cracking wee song and a great vid.

Very cool video. I love Paddy Considine and he was pretty good, even in those few minutes. This is the first Arctic Monkeys song I've actually heard. All the hype about them being either the best band ever or the worst, and I've never really heard them. Not bad at all.

If you like that song you'll most likely love their debut album. As for Paddy Considine...the guy has been responsible for several of my favorite performances of the last ten years. He was magnificent in his debut performance in A Room For Romeo Brass (if you haven't seen it...please do so). He was likewise excellent in 24 Hour Party People and My Summer Of Love and I cannot shower enough praise on the guy for the amazing Dead Man's Shoes. He's a talent. No mistaking that.

Everybody knows how much I love Paddy (I think)...and whilst I'm not overly fond of The Monkeys, I do like both song and video very very much actually.
Speaking of Paddy though...I won an In America promo booklet on his official website and received it in the post last week...signed and sealed by Paddy's own fair hands *sigh*...I was seriously made up!!!
Official site (paddyconsidine.tk)
Fans of Meadows and Considine should definitely drop by...both the men come on and chat from time to time.
