Official Christopher site (http://www.comecloser.com/home.htm)

I only heard of this guy by random chance - a track off a promo CD from a magazine. Let me just say, Christopher is increadible.

He's basically industrial, but is often described as a cross between Enigma, Dead Can Dance, Him, The Cure... throw in some Type O Negative and a touch of NIN or Pig and you get the gist.

As of now, he has two albums with a third on the way. On the site you can check out samples and such. His first album, the 80 minute epic "Wer Next Project," is pretty experimental. Essentially it is one 80 minute song broken up into movements - at least that's how I describe it.

His second release "Abandoned in Situ" is a more traditional album in terms of songs and style - and it is an amazing listening experience.

The guy does everything himself - gutiars, drums, keyboards, vocals (he's got a killer voce). Even the backing vocals that sound like female singers are his - he just manipulated his own voice.

If you like your industrial metal dark, gothic, and moody then for the love of god check out this guy's site. The music is beautiful and unlike anything else you'll likely hear.
