I was thinking Death to Smoochy, but that might put the day in a weird spin.
The Rookie is something I would like to see because I've been saying that there aren't enough good g-rated movies lately, and this one seems to be something I'd like.
If KISSING JESSICA STEIN is playing at your theater then see it. I'm dying to see it but it's only in limited release and not playing around me, it goes into 300 theaters this next weekend so maybe my theater will get it. Anyway, the reviews have been great and it's not something that will make you feel depressed, it's a "happy" movie. The movie you see will most likely have an effect on your mood today so I'd see a feel good movie. KISSING JESSICA STEIN would be the perfect movie to start out your day.
Or if you think you might enjoy SORORITY BOYS and you haven't seen it, check it out, I thought it was really funny, but it's goofy. It depends on what kind of humor you're into. I'd see KISSING JESSICA STEIN though if you can.
There's absolutely nothing else in theaters worth seeing right now, the only two movies I want to see are KISSING JESSICA STEIN and PANIC ROOM.

Go with your gut and check out Death to Smoochy. Sure it may be a little wierd, but I left the theatre with a huge smile on my face.

There are many great movies in the theatres right now. If you dig horror films you can catch BLADE II. That movie is top-notch horror and action. There is RESIDENT EVIl also. If you are a comedy fan there is DEATH TO SMOOCHY, SORORITY BOYS(which was a great suprise), and if you can wait until Friday you should check out BIG TROUBLE. Other good movies are THE ROOKIE, PANIC ROOM, HART'S WAR, and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. Oh and don't forget about the great film E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL. I know I forgot one but those are the best. Out of all of my choices I'd go with E.T.
The movie to check out this weekend is Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN. Everything else, including Oscar winner A BEAUTIFUL MIND and all the Oscar nominees still playing, pales in comparison.

If you want to laugh, go see Death to Smoochy. If you want your ass kicked, go see Blade II.

Well, if I had to choose, I'd go see Death To Smoochy. But that's just me...
