Last night I hauled my ass to Boston to see the best show I've seen all year, Rollins Band live! (Ledgendary punk band X were also on the bill, but this review is dedicated to Rollins only). I didnt pay much attention to the opening band, but from what I could see, they were pretty energetic. The time had come for my hero and his band to take the stage. Henry, Melven, Haskett and Sim took the stage and completly destroyed. The sound was mint all night. The band played flawlessly. Melven is one helll of a bass player, with a sweet funky sound. Haskett's funky guitar playing just totally shredded. And Sim was ace on the drums. Then of course, thers Henry. Man that guy is INTENSE. Talk about giving it your all, this guy gives 110% and then some. That man is truly someone to be admired. This was without a doubt the best show I've seen all year. Set list: (i may be forgetting some)

On My Way to the Cage
Low Self Opinion
Starve
Black & White
Burned Beyond Recognition
Volume 4

I'm glad you had a great time. I really only occasionally listen to his albums, but he did always seem the type to put on an awesome performance and I'd definitely go see him if given the chance.

Rollins Band is very underrated as a live show. They have played at the Galaxy Theater a few times and for $15...it is well worth it! They bring it non-stop and Henry has some sick energy vibes!

I have seen them twice and loved both shows! Best song live..."GONE INSIDE THE ZERO"

If you like them live, pick up the double LIVE CD from Rollins Band titled "The Only Way To Know For Sure". Great sound and gives you all the intensity of a Rollins Concert. I picked it up at their show for like $10.

funny thing...Im listening to that CD on my iPod when I read this. NICE!
